Somervell County Salon is
pro-Democracy, as in what we were all taught in school. That there are 3
co-equal branches of government, the Congress exists as a branch to pass laws
and approriate funds, while acting as a check on the executive branch. Trump,
who is a felon, apparently believes he has no check on ignoring the law,
including taking bribes and dismantling the government with the help of Elon
Musk, who apparently sees himself as being the real power over Trump. If you
believe we need a dictator and you approve of the Republicans in Congress doing
nothing to stop Trump, who also bullies and threatens to take over other
countries, while approving of genocide in Gaza so he can have an entertainment
district, despite Gaza being a soveriegn country, you are against the ideas that
founded his country and un-American. We believe here that no man is above the
law, including the president, and that if any man, including felon Trump,
commits a criminal act, they should be punished according to law.
Make no mistake. This is a coup. and John Cornyn and Ted Cruz and Roger Williams, by not standing up against this, show themselves to be cowards and not worthy of being in Congress.
