I notice the opt out form for parents who do not want their students to participate in the events at Tiger Stadium says “The glasses will be provided by the district to each student“. But actually, the glasses were given to GRISD by the Creation Evidence Museum people. Always kind of a shame to see that a public school, which presumably values teaching young minds facts, would affiliate itself in any way with hoaxsters. I mean, maybe the schools are happy to take any old freebie to help them out since Texas, as a state, is always trying to crush public education (DO NOT VOTE FOR SCHOOL VOUCHERS) , but there should be some disclaimers about the creation “evidence” museum as it’s clear giving out glasses is part of what Carl Baugh would like to do to keep his foot in the door about his wacky museum.

Many of Carl Baugh’s creation ‘evidences’. Sorry to say, we think that he’s well meaning but that he unfortunately uses a lot of material that is not sound scientifically. So we advise against relying on any ‘evidence’ he provides, unless supported by creationist organisations with reputations for Biblical and scientific rigour. Unfortunately, there are talented creationist speakers with reasonably orthodox understandings of Genesis who continue to promote some of the Wyatt and Baugh ‘evidences’ despite being approached on the matter.
Here he is with his hands out looking for a property tax break from the City of Glen Rose back in 2015
This made me laugh at the time
