As some of you know, I took a break from going to county meetings during the time covid was rampant. I felt and still do, that the attitude from Republican governors and others in charge, including then-president Trump, that made light of all the sickness and death was offensive. Here are the Texas stats for July 22 2024. (I believe that dark blue on this map is Tarrant County and 3 other counties in the metroplex). I simply have too many places to go and people to visit this summer and fall to risk going to an enclosed room and possibly hobnobbing with people infected. Yes, I could wear a mask, but I believe that since most of the govt entities record their meetings and make them available in a timely manner that no one has to go around others who do not have the same consideration for health.
