
Got two different anonymous email tips about this, so clearly people are wondering. What both are wondering is whether, since other jobs are posted on the Glen Rose City website, why isn’t this one, along with a job description, salary, etc? When you look at the City of Glen Rose jobs page, there are other jobs, including probably the one that Rita took, ie “Convention and Visitors Bureau Director” The one on Facebook says Scott Gipson is “director of events”. Two directors, what is the difference in their job duties? Is Rita Scott’s boss or does he report to the city? Do jobs usually get posted to the website so that all can apply or is this typical to just up and hire somebody without a process?
