12:16- Asked Judge Danny Chambers about criminal trespassing. Jeff from SCSO said that if Gray needed to come up to the Expo for any reason to call the commissioners first. Chambers said once the Expo is sold, if it is sold, then the charge will go away automatically
Gray: So you didn’t call call the witnesses to prove that I didn’t cuss him out.
Chambers: There was people in there that both defended and said against you, both directions. I didn’t call the lady from (? Capitol?)
Gray: That is the one you should have called. That is the one, unbiased ..
Chambers: Sabrina wouldn’t come back down here and testify. Sabrina, I felt, was pretty much telling the truth. .. Is there anything you need out of there?
Gray: Did you ask them if they had witnesses cussing them out because I didn’t cuss a single person out.
Chambers: Witnesses of you walking around the ring using the F word many times.
Gray: When I was on the phone with you……
? Why was Gray calling Chambers? Nikki Weedon is (well, was) her boss before Gray was fired. Does everyone in the county offices have Chamber’s cell phone number and can call him directly for anything? Was this the phone call being made to Gray during a closed executive session of the commissioners court?
You didn’t call anyone to back me up .. There was nobody in the ring, not a single person, when I approached him. … Julie and Vic on stage.. the version you got was not the whole version
Chambers: The thing that hurt you overall is when the group asked you to stay away from this side.
Gray: Nobody asked me. Who asked me that?
Chambers. Wade asked you. And when we had you on the speaker phone during executive session (commissioners court) and I had one group outside, one group inside and you on the cell phone
I find this a little weird. For a commissioners court that wants to be scrupulous about being recorded, where the county attorney went to the trouble to put up no recording signs in the hallway (which have zero legal basis and actually break the law if followed), why would the commissioners not insist that Gray attend the executive session in person? She could have recorded the meeting on her cell phone on the end or had multiple people listening in.
Gray: They asked me to take pictures. That organization asked me to take pictures
Chambers: That’s another deal outside of this altogether. If you remember, it was Kelly, Vic on this side, you on that side to take care of Open Capitol. That picture deal, I don’t know anything about it.
Gray: The only reason I came over here is that I spent all day taking pictures for them, they asked me to take the pictures.
What? Where did taking pictures come from? Was there a contract to do that or was this on the fly? Was there any paperwork to show how this picture taking was going to be paid and to whom? Also, one of the commenters, Crystal Gray, about Gray at the meeting on 11/12/2024 at commissioners court, said Cindy Gray had not been at the Expo all day.
Chambers: I wish you had not done that. I did not realize that you did that. That makes sense why she was going on about a (?) of contract.
Gray: That is the only reason I was over here … They asked … and it was fine until it wasn’t.
Chambers: Everybody admitted to that.. I wish you had not done that
Gray: I am not sad about that.
Chambers: Who’s gonna run it? I’m tired of trying to keep the place open
Gray: I’ve worked a lot of hours for nothing… I am pissed because they lied. The 3rd time after I had pushed that guy back (breaking bottles) that’s when I walked in there. .. We weren[t supposed to do anything.
Chambers: Biggest problem was you being over here.. you don’t have to worry about this any more.
Gray: All I have to do is get my bag and then my shoes
SCSO writes warning after getting Gray’s license (Notice that her license apparently reads Cindy and not Cyndi (he scratches that out)
Gray was walked inside to get her shoes, etc and then walked out
