I suspect with the way money has infused politics at so many levels, and including lobbyists in this, that there are lots of entities that go TO politicians to ask if they will do such and such and direct money their way. Heck, I’ve always felt that earmarks from politicians are a form of bribery, especially when it take the entity, like Glen Rose Medical Center, going TO them and asking for something. BUT Trump going TO big oil to tell them if they give him money, not just a little but a LOT, he will scrap President Biden’s energy policies is not just a step too far, it’s a mile wide chasm.
