Question of the day is, for people who voted for felon Trump. (I did not). Did you want a dictator? Do you not believe in a democracy or a system that lets citizens vote for who and what they want? And then expect that the person in a 3rd co-equal branch of the government will obey the law? Are you know against law and order? Or do you think that law and order only applies to some people, but not the executive branch or legislative branches of government?

Does it concern you at all that a guy who was an illegal immigrant, is from another country, was not elected in any sense and was put in charge of a department that violates the law because Congress did not create it, is running around looking at all the systems in our US government and firing people? And that those firings include areas of oversight and where some were investigating Trump for potential malfeasance? If it doesn’t concern you, why the heck NOT? Are you content with Musk publishing classified data on the DOGE website? Content with having people who espouse a love for Nazis doing the rummaging? Content with your private information being viewed by a rogue bunch of young adults who were not authorized by Congress to do thi? I for one, AM concerned.

I DO NOT SUPPORT REDUCING THE FEDERAL WORKFORCE when done as a blunt sledge hammer and ignoring completely the role that Congress is supposed to play. Congress, as anyone that went to school in the US knows, is the branch of govt that APPROPRIATES MONEY and decides where to spend it. On cancer research, for example, which is now gutted because of Trump and Musk AND THE REPUBLICANS because they are not standing up for citizens of the US but for dictator Trump.
How do we know he’s a dictator now ? Well, he ran on this, that he would be a dictator for one day, which has turned out to be weeks, now.
“We love this guy,” Trump said of Hannity. “He says, ‘You’re not going to be a dictator, are you?’ I said: ‘No, no, no, other than day one. We’re closing the border, and we’re drilling, drilling, drilling. After that, I’m not a dictator.’”
That was a lie. He is trying to rule through Executive Orders, of which a significant amount go against the law. Who set these laws? Congress. And Trump is supposed to, as the president execute the law, not create law. If he has people in his cabinet, which so far includes some wacko people without experience, that are advising him that this breaks the law, is he listening? Apparently not. This is from yesterday
He who saves his Country does not violate any Law’
Um, no, that’s not the way it works. Anyone that murders someone and says “Oh, I was saving the Country because this person was a monster” is violating the law. It cannot be that whatever goofy thing someone subjectively thinks is saving the country while ignoring laws that were passed by elected-by-the-people laws is a get out of jail free card. This despite that clearly Trump, who has broken the law and been adjudicated as a felon managed to get away from justice.
Slate: The legal counteroffensive against the Trump–Musk deconstruction of the federal government has begun. State attorneys general, unions, and other groups have already obtained multiple restraining orders and injunctions commanding that illegally frozen funds flow and illegally suspended employees be reinstated. However, the Trump administration has, predictably, proved reluctant to comply. Indeed, in some instances, it is simply defying court orders. For example, here in Colorado, more than $570 million in congressionally authorized funds is being unlawfully withheld from public and private groups, despite court orders commanding that the Trump freeze on the money be lifted.
