Starting out by saying that I am NOT anyone creating video or podcasts about this, or as delusional Blake Lively seems to think about others, in cahoots in any way with the Wayfarer group, but I DO have two eyes and happy to pass on what others have said. . At least 2 of the people I listen to basically just discuss what is happening with the lawsuit, reading or displaying the actual filings, and include their opinions. Yeah. That’s what Americans with free speech can do. I’m drawn to stuff like that due to all the lawless things Felon Trump did. If you read here, you will see lots and lots of posts about quite a few lawsuits against Trump, including the ones that actually went against hm. In fact, there is lots of material on the internet ANYTIME there is a lawsuit in which the filings are available, usuallly as PDFs through PACER or other sources. One of the fascinating things that I personally enjoy is looking to see what the claims are and what evidence is provided. Whoever it is that writes or creates videos etc is responsible for what the content is, and readers/watchers can decide whether it is true or not.
Well, THIS was just absurd. A number of content creators were notified by various internet providers, like google, Tik-Tok, etc that Lively’s attorneys had done a subpoena asking for information on their accounts, including information like their bank account #s. They found out through … email.. and there was a date they had to respond if they wanted to quash this stuff through the courts. Essentially, this looked to me like a fishing expedition to get information not entitled to, and the people who wanted to contest having their private information sent to Lively’s attorneys had to possibly spend money to get an attorney to fight this. Note that it appears Lively’s side was going after a random list of people who were not favorable to Lively, ie, DON’T NECESSARILY LIKE HER, or were actively following the details of the case or gasp, might have been on Baldoni’s side and there was no evidence that these people were coordinating a *smear campaign* against Lively with Wayfarer (Baldoni’s side) Side note that, crazily enough, one of the content creator has an astrology channel and had made comments about Lively. ASTROLOGY- hah. Lively and her attorneys would like to STOP that astrologer from speaking, I guess.
Again, compare this with talking about the many, many Trump lawsuits and kook Trump believing everyone is against him (or at least saying that and lying) and then trying to get revenge against anyone who does not like him. Ridiculous right and a huge overreach for Trump to try to get revenge on people for speaking about, for his example, his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and attempts to hide it or change the subject.
Back to Lively. So, at least some of these content creators responded with Motions to Quash and filed it with the court. Uh oh, Lively’s team, who had apparently done these subpoenas as a fishing expedition, suddenly backed offf. I’ve put all the links to the filings below as well as some videos made BY content creators that explain what was happening. Now, you can choose to agree or disagree, but the information is PUBLIC and CAN BE COMMENTED ON.

On Tuesday, 20 July, content creator Kassidy O’Connell filed a letter to the judge overseeing Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios, accusing Lively’s legal team of using the courts to ‘harass and intimidate’ independent creators. The 12-page document included an alleged subpoena sent to Google, demanding personal information about O’Connell’s account.
‘There is no evidence or sound legal basis whatsoever to have issued this subpoena in the first place,’ the YouTuber wrote. ‘[Lively] has been gratuitously allowed to extend her witch hunt for discovery, in which she has no evidence to support.’
O’Connell’s letter is stirring up concern about the balance of power
between public figures and everyday online commentators. She said the
subpoena not only invades her privacy but also sets a worrying precedent
for other creators who simply report on public legal disputes.‘On what legal basis were these subpoenas issued out of this court? Was ANY
evidence at all presented to validate them or is [Lively] free to
submit just any subpoena to anyone that is not her fan?’ she questioned.The YouTuber also warned the court she plans to seek sanctions over what
she called an ‘unduly burdensome’ legal maneuver aimed at silencing
critics.Baldoni’s legal team backed O’Connell’s claims, revealing that other creators such
as McKenzie Folks were also subpoenaed. In some cases, the demands went
as far as requesting credit card or bank account information used for
premium account access—raising alarm bells about the breadth and
intention behind these subpoenas.

Anyway, Dave Neal’s video below is also a good explainer on what happened, including Lively’s attorneys backing off after, again, I’m guessing, realizing that this is a PR disaster for them and makes Lively look unhinged, vindictive and petty.

Watch the video below, which includes, in part, the response to Judge Liman by Lively’s attorneys which seek to misrpresent what actually happened before they begged Liman to say the Motions to Quash are moot.
