This hit me personally the other day when an out of country kin sent me a gift and I got a notice from DHL that I had to pay about $20 in import duties on it (NEVER have had to do that before). I did pay it via DHL’s site a few days ago, still have not had the package delivered so no idea at this point if I will even receive it. Overall, I have not liked this creep being able to try to extort people into doing what he wnated by threatening tariffs on them, especially when Trump’s doing so violates the law. Seems a federal court, and not JUST a federal court but a court of appeals agrees.

A federal court upheld a ruling invalidating most of Trump’s global tariffs, citing lack of authority under IEEPA. The decision threatens government revenue and businesses. Trump called it catastrophic and vowed a Supreme Court appeal, claiming tariffs remain in effect www.axios.com/2025/08/29/t…

“You have to let us break the law or we will be embarrassed” is not a good legal argument

The Supreme Court love wiping their ass with The US Constitution for their owners (Oligarchs and The Federalist Society <The Confederacy>).

I hope people realize how absolutely fucked this situation is. This isn’t normal. People are resigning all over the place because the government is mishandling our data, ruining our public health services, and generally making Americans less safe.
