I saw early this morning that Trump is going to make an announcement about something today. I don’t think I want to watch it at that moment because he might also included his moronic and unhinged rants about windmills or have his cabinet sitting around buttering him up.
Mike Lee wanted to be in this cartoon, but sadly he’s not a member of the worst presidential cabinet in history

But I do wonder about his health. The number of people getting hope that he might actually be dead, or that the Republicans are trying to pull a “Dave” is heartening. Hard to imagine WHO is gross and disgusting enough to impersonate him, but I do remember a woman who looked like him a few years back Ick for him, sorry for the woman.
New York does not miss. The bleach did it for me. 😭

About SCOTUS. These justices are corrupt and liars
The umpire who picked a side: John Roberts and the death of rule of law in America
All of this has put Roberts, 70, in a strange and uncomfortable position. Just as he should be celebrating the completion of his 20th year at the pinnacle of the US judiciary, he is being accused of betraying the very legal edifice he is supposed to protect.
Prominent jurists have held Roberts responsible for emboldening Trump’s drive towards an authoritarian presidency. J Michael Luttig, who served on a federal appeals court for 15 years, put the criticism starkly.
“The chief justice is presiding over the end of the rule of law in America,” Luttig told the Guardian.
In Luttig’s view, the court under Roberts is “acquiescing in and accommodating the president’s lawlessness. And it is doing so without briefing, without argument, without deliberation – and without even a single word of explanation of its decisions.”
For Luttig, this is more than just the 6-3 supermajority of the court expressing its conservatism. This is a fundamental distortion of the American legal system.
“The supreme court was never intended to function like this. Never before has it entertained such challenges from the president, and never before has it decided them so flippantly.”

I naively thought the country would rally around women after SCOTUS illegitimately overturned Roe, destroying the precedent they swore to uphold. I figured women bleeding out like it’s the dark ages might spur some to vote to restore our liberty. Ha! Fuck John roberts to hell.

Never forget – John Roberts and his MAGA #SCOTUS gave DOGE access to social security database via a shadow docket order on a Friday after (perhaps hoping lot of folks wouldn’t notice). SCOTUS enabling of DOGE access to social security data needs to be an unseverable part this story.

And the Roberts SCOTUS let it happen.

Don't forget – this all goes back to John Roberts led MAGA #SCOTUS who earlier let Trump fire the heads of independent agencies. They are the ones who have enabled and emboldened Trump.

I don't have stats but it feels like this SCOTUS has used the shadow docket cases more then any other has ever done before. They are demanding lower courts read tea leaves but they are producing ever more tea leaves that require ever deeper reading. Also the Roberts courts is just absurdly lazy.

. The 4th Reich began at noon on Jan 20, 2025 in Washington, DC, courtesy of the Heritage Foundation, powered by John Roberts' Catholic SCOTUS, operated by unelected Stephen Miller and now supercharged by trump's budget robbery bill . . . .
