Everyone with even slight knowledge of Russia and or foreign policy has suspected that Putin planned to expand his aggression after invading Ukraine, so giving him territory that does not belong to the U.S. to give was never a viable option for Ukraine or for Europe and therefore not for Western democracy, and yet this is the “deal” Trump sold as “peace.”
It was, in fact, appeasement and the appeasement has not worked. Like not even a little bit. And it makes Trump look weak that he bragged that he alone could solve this war and then the Russian president with whom he thinks he has such a special relationship, yes the man who is the leader of a country hostile to the one Trump has sworn to protect, completely ignores Trump and his “peace” deal and even tests him by getting more aggressive. And Trump just takes it like a chump.

Carr threatened to cancel FCC licenses b/c "Kimmel's remarks misled the public." Trump told a UK reporter that Kimmel “was fired for lack of talent.” ABC has not fired Kimmel. His show was suspended. It's OK when Trump misleads the public, but not when comedians tell jokes.
