Basically, the issue was that I wanted to see the video taken by Somervell County of the hallways on May 9, 2025 when Judge Danny Chambers and Somervell County Attorney Trey Brown, on the basis of no law, sent cops to boot me out of public Annex on the basis of NO law or anything I did wrong. Really, truly, these are terrible people and abuse their office. Judge Danny Chambers should be ashamed for rashly following what Trey Brown said, especially when Chambers told me (on video) that he was involved in this.
Trey Brown did not want to let me have the video, which, everyone in Glen Rose should understand is video that is taken of EVERYONE that comes into the annex, and NO ONE has a right of privacy when in public hallways. (Note that there is NO sign in the hallways letting people know that they are being recorded, unlike the baloney paper signs Brown had printed up, probably on a hallway printer, for some offices that cites no law and in fact, are against the law).
I suspect, but do not know this, that because Brown and de los Santos did not properly document the request to the AG about not giving me the video, as they were supposed to, the AG probably did not have an email or other address to be able to send ME a copy of the decision, which came out on August 15, 2025. But certainly, unless Brown forgot to supply his own address at Somervell County, HE or Santos should have gotten one. I wondered on Sept 5, 2025 what the status was and was told by Santos that IT was working on it and that Trey or herself would *be in touch*. I asked on Sept 8 for a copy of the AG OR that had been sent to Somervell County. No reply. On Sept 17, I emailed, including Brown, Santos, Michelle Reynolds (who for some weird reason had been included BY Brown on previous replies, adding that Michelle, when she did open records requests request, was the BEST, side by side with Melanie Bybee of the Sheriffs Dept ) and Eddie to say that I believed the answer above was vague and without a timeline and asking when the video would be made available. Because I had gotten NO reply to my request on Sept 8 for a copy of the AG order, I asked AGAIN for it on October 6 (about a month later). I also did an open records request, particularly because Somervell County’s Open Records was SO non-responsive, for records showing when Eddie was asked to get me the video. I mean, how the heck was he notified to ASK for the video production, on what date and did he know the details? On Oct 14, 2025, Santos wrote me back that there no records existed for that. Oh, okay, does that give YOU confidence that anything you think the Somervell County is working on can be followed and is accurate??? She also told me on October 14 that “our offices have been unable to locate a response from the Attorney General’s office sent to a Somervell County office” . I got a response as well regarding the video that SLG Technologies has been able to recover the video and Scott would put it on a flash drive. She told me at 8:53 am that Scott had not gotten the drive to her yet but “I know he has it ready”. I then went down and picked it up at the Annex
Kudos to Scott for getting all the video for me which I am going to look at this week or next. I noticed that he put the video on the flash drive between 8:20 am and 8:31 am that morning (yesterday). SLG apparently saw no urgency in getting the video for me, since they, according to Santos, got no documents or emails and must have found out through a magic dream dropping from the sky, perhaps they did not know this was a matter that Brown LOST and was instructed by the AG to get me the video *promptly*. Who knows, since Open Records at Somervell County is not professional enough apparently to WRITE THINGS DOWN. Heck, if I were in that job, I’d have at the least a spreadsheet where I could lot the actions for reference, with attachments. Honestly makes me wonder about other aspects of Santos job. Side note that the stats for the video show that the video that is on the flash drive is from Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 10:00 am. It seems reasonable to me that IT got the video from the hallway on that day, but then Brown went to the AG to try to prevent me from getting copies. If I am right, means the video was already extracted and ready, just needed to be put on a flash drive, so there was ZERO REASON to wait after the AG told them to get the video to me. Did Brown and Chambers want to look at the video to be sure it didn’t show something that didn’t want exposed?
I also thought this was weird. Since on Oct 14, which was more than 10 business days after I asked for this on Sept 8,(thus in violation of the Public Information Act), Santos said that she could not find a response from the AG about the specific OR answer about the video. Honestly, that action or rather, lack of it is so stupid, and this boggles my mind.

I don’t understand. Then, how were you notified of the decision from the AG’s office to you all to get me the video promptly after Trey Brown’s request to withhold was denied? Are you saying that the first time you heard that that AG told Somervell County to supply the video was when I asked you via email about a status and you never received anything from the AG?
Of course I have received no reply because this is ridiculous. Did she not do the original request to the AG to contest sending me the video properly? Well, if you look at what she sent at the time, you will KNOW she did not do them right, it was extremely goofy. Is she trying to say that the AG never sent her the response to tell them to get the video promptly to me? The AG ALWAYS notifies people, is it actually sitting on her or Brown’s desk under a pile of papers? “Somebody”, she won’t say who “advised” her on Sep 8 that IT was working on getting the video -who was it that *advised her, was it Brown and, if so, is he the one who had the answer from the AG? Did Santos even ASK him if he had the AG opinion ?
Brown is her BOSS. Even though Santos actions seem careless and irresponsible, HE IS HER BOSS and she cc’s him on these letters and emails. Is he not aware of what she is doing and if not, WHY NOT??? He is an elected official and responsible to ALL of us here in Somervell County. If he cannot ensure that she does her job properly, then the finger needs to be pointed at HIM and, Texas being a right-to-work state, perhaps finding someone more careful and scrupulous to do Santos job.
Why should YOU care about this, besides the fact of learning about incompetent Danny Chambers, lawless Trey Brown and his underlings? You should have the utmost confidence that, when you need a record from government which is supposed to SERVE YOU, the people therein are conscientious enough to follow the law and do procedures promptly, not leading we citizens to wonder if govt is slacking, breaking the law, are competent, or trying to hide things.
