I always have wondered why it was that Russia and the US ALWAYS do some kind of faux cease fire deal that does NOT include Ukraine. Saw around a week ago that the US was trying to strongarm Ukraine into giving up territory that Ukraine lost from the invasion or Russia, and other things like making Russia one of the approved languages, etc. Then US tried to bully Ukraine into accepting this WITHOUT HIS BEING A PART, by Thanksgiving. You simply have to watch this video which includes other video showing exactly how this transpired

So, the US said it was their plan WITH Russia. But then, Marco Rubio said, nope, this is really just a *wish list* of Russia. Included in to the video above is Mike Rounds saying that Rubio told them this was NOT the US plan. Bit then, oops, there was blowback to Rubio backtracked to say yeah, that’s the US plan. Trump said that other day that “Zelensky will have to like it” What’s clear is that is NOT a US plan but Trump is pushing for Russia to win over Ukraine.

Rounds: Senator Shaheen mentioned that Secretary Rubio did make a phone call to us this afternoon. I think he made it very clear that we are the recipients of a proposal that was delivered to one of our representatives. It is not our recommendation. It is not our peace plan.

King: According to Secretary Rubio, this plan is not the administration’s position — it is essentially the Russians’ wish list that is now being presented to the Europeans and to the Ukrainians.

Rubio told senators that the 28-point peace plan drawn up by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and his Russian counterpart, Kirill Dmitriev, was actually a Russian plan that the U.S. had agreed to. Zelensky and EU allies are alarmed by the prospect of a bilateral U.S.-Russia deal without Ukrainian input.

What’s also lazy and astonishing is that it appears this is JUST Russia’s plan that was put through Google Translate into English. EVERY POINT was what Russia wanted.

The White House “prepares” a new Ukraine peace deal…

Translated “The US peace plan for Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine demonstrably contains Russian phrasing, sentence structures, and grammar. In some parts, it appears to have been translated sentence by sentence using Google Translate. It is therefore not surprising that it includes many of Russia’s demands.”

Here’s Trump’s special envoy Witkoff. Distusting that he puts his hand over his heart when Putin walks in the room. Is he really a Russian asset?

Trump’s special envoy Witkoff put his hand over his heart when Putin walked in the room. Like he’s reunited with a loved one. That really tells you all you need to know.

The article referenced here is hands-down my favorite article explaining what the fool happened and why it is Russia’s document

Here’s part of the Russian *wish list*

“Ukraine agrees to enshrine in its constitution that it will not join NATO, and NATO agrees to include in its statutes a provision that Ukraine will not be admitted in the future… NATO agrees not to station troops in Ukraine.”

Russia thus dictates not only the future size of the alliance and its deployments (stationing NATO “peacekeepers” in Ukraine was an earlier proposal by Trump), but also dictates in perpetuity the will of all Ukrainians, even though their nation’s “sovereignty” is confirmed in the first sentence of this document.

“European fighter jets will be stationed in Poland.”

Ukraine just inked a deal with France to buy up to 100 Rafale fighters jets and earlier inked an MOU to explore purchasing between 100 and 150 Swedish Gripens. Evidently these are to be parked on NATO tarmacs. But Ukraine gets to land her American-made F-16s at home? Also, did anyone consult with Warsaw about their new bilateral responsibilities? (This comment from Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk would indicate not.)

“If Ukraine launches a missile at Moscow or St. Petersburg without cause, the security guarantee will be deemed invalid.”

So if Ukraine launches a missile at, say, Rostov or Belogorad or Nizhny-Novgorod without cause, the security guarantee is still valid? What a nice way to signpost to Russians in the regions that their lives are nothing in comparison to those of the elites living in the big cities.

“Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk will be recognized as de facto Russian, including by the United States.”

This runs counter to a host of U.S. legislation and executive orders, including those issued by Trump in his first term, which affirms Ukraine’s territorial integrity and it indeed vouchsafes to Putin the fortress territories of Donetsk his army is incapable of conquering.

“$100 billion in frozen Russian assets will be invested in US-led efforts to rebuild and invest in Ukraine… The US will receive 50% of the profits from this venture. Europe will add $100 billion to increase the amount of investment available for Ukraine’s reconstruction.”

So America is to receive kickbacks from Russia for the rebuilding of cities, towns and villages pulverized by Russia, using frozen Russian money; and Europe, which has not been consulted on any of this, is to be made to spend more of its own money on Ukraine’s reconstruction. I wonder if the head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund has reckoned with which of the siloviki will be expropriated here, to the enrichment of the U.S. government.

“Russia will enshrine in law its policy of non-aggression towards Europe and Ukraine.”

LOL.

Notice that this also seems to indicate the end of NATO, replaced by some weird “Peace Council” that is headed by Felon Trump

Dmitriev and Witkoff out there rewriting the North Atlantic Treaty all by themselves.

So what does the EU, which has been supporting Ukraine over Russia, as well as Zelensky think of all this (again, NEITHER of those entities were involved in this chitshow)

Trump says Ukraine's leaders have shown "zero gratitude" over US efforts to end the war. 🤨It is totally legit for Zelensky to feel like he does because this "peace deal" sounds more like a "tuck your tail" deal. It favors Putin because he wrote the plan! #Pinks www.bbc.com/news/live/c3…

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said, "we are still quite a long way from a good outcome for everyone," the BBC reported. On Saturday, Zelensky announced that his head of office Andriy Yermak would lead Ukraine's negotiating team. #Ukraine
