I knew that there were troubled and odd circumstances with the Truth Social SPAC, but somehow missed this lawsuit. Basically, the Guardian published two articles that said federal prosecutors in NY were investigating money laundering allegations regarding 2 payments that were tied to an ally of Vladimir Putin. Origins of the loans caused alarm, but did not return the money. Trump felt that the articles were defamatory and went (surprise) to court. The judge involved threw out the lawsuit within the last two weeks.
