You know what’s extremely silly at this point? Dragging in previous presidents instead of pointing the finger at the one(s) that actually attacked another sovereign country. Who’s president right now? Trump. You know, the one that campaigned on no wars but has been threatening country after country for months.

Incidentally, maybe there are some readers here who do not remember what happened with the Iraq War and the baloney justifications made before CONGRESS to declare war on Iraq after 9/11. Iraq had nothing to do, incidentally, with 9/11, Saudi Arabia did. But they made up, and I distincely remember Colin Powell trying to make his case about Iraq being an imminent threat to US by Weapons of Mass Destruction… It was LIE, just as the crap Trump is making up about Iran now, albiet without even a fig leaf to pretend he will get Congressional authorization first. He just wants to be a dictator.

Gotta hand it to Trump. It took months before the Pentagon admitted that the claims about an imminent threat from Iraq’s WMD were lies. Trump got it done in one day. No imminent threat. No casus belli. Trump went to war because he wanted to.

Incidentally, why is the Trump administration so against freedom of speech and transparency?

For the most part, it was only MAGA sycophants handpicked be part of Hegseth's Pentagon press corps who got to ask questions this morning. There were a handful of actual journalists from legitimate media organizations who were allowed to attend. Of course, this is the way they were treated.
