First, we are not a Christian nation, despite some nuts wanting to change the nature of our country. The Trump administration has decided to infect their government with all kinds of religious iconography. Recently Hegseth had a Good Friday prayer meeting that excluded Catholics (Although the notice did not say, probably excluded Mormons, Jews, Muslims and anyone else that was not their preferred flavor of christianity. Why did he do that? Undoubtedly this was because Pope Leo spoke out against the war that Trump started. And yes, I know that some so-called christians do not consider Catholics to be christian (probably J d Vance too who just wrote a book about his conversion to Catholocism) but it is NOT up to government officials who are being paid by taxes to determine that and thus exclude and denigrate people based upon his own weird *I’m a crusader* taste. These people are gross, keep them AWAY from me; I’d like to see them satiate their blood lust and excitement to murder people by being locked in a room.. Quick reminder that Congress, particularly the Republicans in the majority, COULD STOP THIS
My friends/family thought I was unreasonable for cutting people out of my life for voting for him. I think it was the most rational think I have done in my life.

"Jesus is the King of Peace, who rejects war, whom no one can use to justify war. He does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them… Even though you make many prayers, God will not listen: your hands are full of blood."- Pope Leo XIV

This is vile of Hegseth. First, he should be neutral when he represents the government and quit using the official govt website pages for his baloney *christian* propaganda.

Me waking up and seeing that our president just brazenly post about destroying an entire country if he didn’t get his way, a war he started and we are ALL paying for it with our tax dollars and it’s NAUSEATING to even think that we are funding people especially children to be blown up.

Hegseth – "Minister of War" Most say these are Christian religious symbols, a few say Nazi symbolism. I have no idea, and I don't think it matters. Religious fanaticism or Nazi extremism, this is a man who appears to get a hard-on from speeches about bombing and slaughter.

They are Christian crusader symbols. More common with KKK types than Nazi types. Neo-Nazis tend to go for the paganistic stuff rather than the Christian stuff. Hegseth thinks he's leading a holy war–a crusade. People like this shouldn't be anywhere near power.
