I’ve given up on the Republican party in Congress doing the right thing or even being moral. I feel like Trump is like an abusive boyfriend or spouse that cannot stop and the only solution is to get someone new that is actually a good person.I saw the whole Platner thing in Maine and didn’t pay a whole lot of attention after I saw the man had a Nazi tattoo. What kind of person does that? Even recently when it came out he is a sexual abuser, I was glad to see the Democratic party firmly denounce him and ask that he not run. such a contrast to Republicans who welcome rapists and sexual abusers into their party. And it’s especially egregious when they pretend to be moral or *christian*.

For self-preservation, if Trump was just some felon that lived down the street, I’d studiously avoid him and certainly would not do anything to allow any person to believe I thought he was a good person that I wanted to hang out with. I only hope he doesn’t completely demolish our American heritage and steal all the money for his own aggrandizement before he finally, mercifully for us, exits the world state
