After issuing an *executive order* which is not a law, two states at least have said Nah, we’re not doing that. For some weird reason, Trump wants families to take their children multiple times to the doctor to get shots. It is just unbelievable how dumb this is, and if he is actually listening to RFJ Jr who eats roadkill, and said he is homeless, is astonishing. Does Trump HAVE to put people stupider than himself in his cabinet while putting American’s lives at risk? Or did RFJ Jr just Greedy Gus money to be in that position. Plus this man is NOT a doctor, he has no idea (remember the stupid things he said during Covid when HE was in charge, ie bleach, light, etc, duuuuuuuuuhhhh) I want doctors and scientists to make these kind of decisions not a kook (RFJR) that swims in sewage

Let me say as a parent. Children almost universally do not like shots. Heck, I as an adult do not like shots. That is why, if you love your children or at least want to have a minimally awful experience, having one shot with multiple vaccines given at ONE TIME is the way to go. From a practical standpoint, one has to arrange the time to go to the doctor, how to get there, how long you might have to wait and this dumbass thinks people should have to do it multiple times (bet those parents do not get paid for missing work more than once)

I'm not convinced Trump knows what a vaccine is or how they are administered. What's he talking about? "They give these massive- you ever look? It looks like a Coca-Cola bottle. They're pumping this massive amount of fluid into a child's body" (dear reader, syringes look nothing like Coke bottles)

Incidentally, it’s insane to me that Republicans trying to have Dr Fauci as a scapegoat. People REMEMBER, not just in the US, but around the world, what was happening with Covid and I, for one, am grateful that we had scientists, not morons, trying to figure out how to cure it
It's absolutely insane we've somehow let the Covid recriminations debate become like "why didn't we reopen in person schools before there was a vaccine" and not "why did none of the trump guys go to jail for stealing PPE from New York hospitals in March 2020"
